9 Textile Enterprises Are Supported By Cotton Import Quotas

Learned from the municipal development and Reform Commission, the national development and Reform Commission recently issued the first batch of cotton import quotas in 2010, and 9 cotton spinning enterprises in the city gained 18 thousand and 700 tons of import quota, an increase of 368% over last year. According to the current international and domestic market prices, it can save tens of millions of yuan for raw silk mills.

The textile industry in the city is more developed, and there is a great demand for raw materials such as cotton. In order to solve the cotton textile enterprises' demand for imported cotton, the market promptly reported the quotas to the NDRC, and successfully completed the import tariff quota declaration of cotton.
