    The Second China Fashion E-Commerce Summit

    Sponsored by the Hangzhou Municipal People's government, the "2010 Second China garment e-commerce summit" jointly hosted by Hangzhou information office and Beijing Zheng Wang Consulting Co., Ltd. will be held on May 27-28 2010 at the International Conference Hall of the Great Hall of the people in Zhejiang, Hangzhou.


    For most Chinese traditional clothing enterprises, e-commerce is still a new topic. According to the survey of Zheng Wang consulting, most Chinese garment enterprises completed a conceptual change in e-commerce and online retailing from hatred to love and from blocking to sparse in 2008, and made a strategic decision to enter e-commerce. In the year of 2009, many brand clothing enterprises combined with the actual situation of their own enterprises and tried various ways and patterns to test the water e-business. In this sense, 2009 is the first year of e-commerce in China's apparel industry.


    The change of the traditional clothing enterprise concept and the beginning to attach importance to the online channel and the rapid growth of the online retail market in China. According to the E-Tailing Trends telephone survey and online retail monitoring, the apparel online retail sales increased by 97% over the same period last year, and the market size increased from 15 billion in 2007 to 64 billion in 2009. The size of the apparel online retail market in 2010 is expected to increase by 80% over 2009, reaching the market scale of 115 billion yuan in 2009.


    Online sale is a strange and fresh thing for many traditional enterprises. There are many problems worth discussing and studying, such as flagship store construction, management and management of online sales channels, product and price management, supply chain and logistics management, effective online marketing, customer relationship maintenance and so on.
