Today, James T. Gagne, the chief executive of Asia committed to greater China, told CBN reporters during an exclusive interview.
The third party logistics company disclosed by Ge Renjie was previously a private enterprise called "100 years old".
Through the acquisition of a hundred year old 100% stake, Asia committed to have eight logistics distribution centers and more than 130 thousand square meters of storage space in China, and all the freight vehicles and business outlets owned by the centenary.
Ge Renjie told reporters that in order to expand his business in China, he committed himself to acquiring an air freight forwarding company in 2007, Guangdong run Tong International Freight Co., Ltd. and a freight forwarding company, Shenzhen Yu He shipping company. However, "the two previous acquisitions were mainly in line with our international business in China, when we did not really cut into the logistics business in mainland China."
The acquisition of centenary is aimed at expanding the share of Asia's commitment to the domestic contract logistics market.
"Customers before the age of 100 are mainly concentrated in auto parts, retail and so on. This is also our strong point. Previously their business outlets were mainly concentrated in East China. In the future, we will expand the network to North China, Southern China and southwest China." Ge Renjie pointed out that the expansion formula does not exclude the search for better companies in the three regions.
"We plan to increase the sales revenue of contract logistics business in China from the present four hundred million or five hundred million to 1 billion 500 million yuan in the next 4-5 years, which means that every year we have a 25% increase in Asia."
Asian commitment is a global logistics provider providing integrated supply system solutions. It has offices in one hundred countries worldwide. Besides the contract logistics business, Asia's business scope includes freight forwarding, project logistics and exhibition logistics.
Ge Renjie believes that these businesses also have great room for expansion in China.
"Although the financial crisis has led to a decline in China's exports, we have also seen opportunities, such as China's exports to emerging markets. Compared with other international logistics giants, Asia is committed to the logistics operation in emerging markets such as the Middle East, India and Africa, so it can make this new" Silk Road "bridge.
In terms of exhibition logistics, Asian efforts have also taken the first step to win a seat in Shanghai World Expo logistics sponsors.
According to the press, he is committed to working with the largest logistics giant in Sinop to serve as a logistics provider in World Expo, Shanghai.
