    Production Technology Of Hot Melt Adhesive For Fabrics

    This product is two polyacid polyester amide hot melt adhesive, polyester amide is a macromolecular chain contains ester bond (- CO - O -), but also contains amide bond (- CO - NH -) a common condensation polymer.

    The adhesive has stable properties and is not easy to decompose in storage.

    At room temperature, it is a high elastic state. After heating, it has a viscous flow pattern. It has the characteristics of softening and melting when heated, and solidified after cooling. So it has wide application in textile industry.

    Especially when used as an adhesive lining for clothing, it can not only make garments durable, upright and round, but also has excellent dry cleaning and washing properties. It is a hot melt adhesive with wide development prospects.

    (1) performance characteristics:

    This product is mainly prepared by polycondensation of polyester resin, ethylene glycol, two polyacid and hexamethylene diamine.

    First, the polyester resin was alcoholysis, then two polyacid and two amino amine were used for esterification and amination reaction. Then polycondensation reaction was carried out to obtain polyester amide adhesive.

    Polyester hot-melt adhesive has high heat resistance, good weatherability, dry cleanness and elasticity. However, because of its high melting point, high viscosity and poor dry cleaning performance, it is not suitable for the use of hot melt adhesive. Polyamide hot melt adhesive has excellent flexibility, aging resistance and dry cleaning properties, low melting temperature and easy operation for garment processing, but its water washing property is poor.

    Therefore, the polyester amide hot melt adhesive uses polyester and polyamide co condensation, which combines the advantages of polyester and polyamide glue, overcomes their shortcomings, and makes the glue have lower processing viscosity and higher bonding strength, so that it can be better applied to the garment industry.

    Polyester amide hot melt adhesive has the following main characteristics:

    1) the appearance is light yellow flexible gel, and can be solidified quickly after heating and melting.

    2) high bonding strength, low viscosity during heating and melting, and easy operation.

    3) good washing and dry cleaning properties, and no significant decrease in adhesion strength after washing.

    4) because polyester is used as raw material, the production process is easy to control, and no toxic substances, such as methanol, are produced.

    Therefore, we will not create three wastes, and are conducive to protecting the environment.

    5) the polyester resin used mainly depends on the waste materials in the production and processing of polyester resin, so that the raw materials are abundant, cheap and easy to obtain, thus greatly reducing the cost of polyester amide hot melt adhesive.
