New Breakthrough In Leather Environmental Safety Testing Technology Research
The national leather quality supervision and Inspection Center (Zhejiang) has undertaken the key technology research of environmental protection and safety testing for high-grade leather, and has won the excellent award of science and technology progress of the China Light Industry Association recently. This is the first time that the center has won the ministerial Award for scientific and technological achievements, and many scientific research achievements in this project have filled the gaps in the relevant technical standards of the leather industry in China.
Leather environmental safety testing technology breakthrough
The environmental and safety performance of leather and fur products has attracted more and more attention from the society. Especially, the quality and technical indicators related to leather safety have become the focus of leather industry.
Due to the backwardness of China's leather standardization system and the lack of relevant testing standards, the operability of the existing test standards is poor, which seriously restricts and affects the healthy and sustainable development of China's leather industry.
According to the introduction, through the research work of the project, the problem of color interference in the six valent chromium test process is effectively solved, and the content of free formaldehyde in leather chemical materials can be quickly and accurately determined.
In addition, the research on testing methods of leather products and mould resistance, the research of testing methods for leather products and mould resistance, and the research on the testing technology of pigment paste thermal stability have filled the blank of domestic testing technology, providing strong technical support for improving the quality of domestic leather, enhancing the competitiveness of the international market, and improving the environmental protection and safety performance of leather products.
