USDA US Cotton Export Sales For A Week.
The following US cotton export sales weekly is based on the report submitted by exporters from March 27th to April 2nd.
The net sales of 253500 consecutive packages were reduced by 37 percentage points from last week, 17 percentage points lower than the average four weeks. The increase in the number of purchases reported by the buyers includes China (104100 packages), Pakistan (76600 packages), India (53300 packages), Turkey (31200 packages), Indonesia (28200 pack), Columbia (11500 pack), Vietnam (7600 pack), and Thailand (7600 pack).
The number of reports decreased in Mexico (91000 packets to 2009/2010). 2009/10 net sales of 133500 packages, mainly buyers in Mexico (108100 packets), Indonesia (11000 packages), and Turkey (10900 pack).
Exports of 288000 packs, a decrease of 3 percentage points from last week, but increased by 27 percentage points over the four week average. The main destinations are China (90700 bales), Pakistan (31500 packages), Turkey (26100 packs), Thailand (23300 packets), Indonesia (21900 pack), and Vietnam (16800 pack).
Pima cotton has a net sales of 3000 bales. The main buyers are Turkey (1300 bales), Hongkong (1000 bales), and Bangladesh (700 packs). The number of reports decreased in Switzerland (200 bales).
