Promotion Of High-Grade Silk Logo Is Imperative.

In 2009, the China Silk Association will actively strive for the national policy for the industry in response to the financial crisis. It will create a more favorable development space for the cocoon and silk industry through organizing the "2009 China International Silk forum", vigorously promoting industry standardization, and especially promoting the high-grade silk logo.

In the 2009 work focus listed by the China Silk Association, I see that "vigorously promoting industry standardization" has become an important content.

At present, automatic silk reeling machine has been widely applied in silk reeling industry. Up to now, there is no standard training material for automatic reeling machine, especially for the shortage of professional and technical personnel in the new Silk Reeling Enterprises in the central and western regions. We should strengthen technical training and improve the skills and overall quality of workers.

"In the course of specific operation, the association will organize relevant technical experts in the silk reeling industry to formulate technical standards and specifications for automatic reeling machines, such as technical operation rules, competition rules, know how and so on, and compile training materials for automatic reeling machines. According to the differences of specialized technical talents in different places, it will organize technical training at different levels, and take the lead in carrying out automatic reeling machine operation competition for enterprises and regions with qualified conditions, so as to accumulate experience and prepare for the next national competition."

It is understood that the China Silk Association will continue to do well in the work of high-grade silk marking.

Therefore, we should vigorously publicize high-grade silk signs in various ways, enhance the market visibility and influence of the logo, and reshape the new image of Chinese silk.

Qian Youqing said that since the official promotion and use of high-grade silk signs in 2004, 24 silk products enterprises which have better product quality, brand awareness and higher market share and can represent the industry level have been granted the right to use the logo. Among them, 6 real silk products have been rated as "Chinese famous brands". 3 enterprises have obtained the franchise qualification of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, and 1 trade marks have won the title of "China well known trademark".
