This year, the third agricultural division of Xinjiang Corps plans to grow 760 thousand mu of cotton. Under the premise of withdrawing from the low yield field below 350 kg of cotton per unit yield and reducing the cotton planting area, it will ensure that the total output of lint cotton is more than 150 thousand tons.
The third division of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps will increase agricultural structural readjustment and pform the mode of economic development. In order to build a good quality cotton base of 700 thousand mu, the cost of cotton planting is controlled under 1200 yuan per mu.
The division constantly increased the technological pformation of cotton picking and processing equipment of the planter, and ensured that a main cultivar and a matching variety could solve the problems of cotton variety, chaos, miscellaneous, poor consistency of lint and poor quality, and the formation of stable cotton comprehensive production capacity to ensure cotton quality.
