Leather Development Forum To Guide Leather Footwear Industry Breakout
The China Leather Development Forum sponsored by China Light Industry Federation and Xingye leather Polytron Technologies Inc has been successfully held for four sessions since it was founded in 2004. Along the way, it has been more mature than one session. It has been better than one session. It has been more fruitful than one session. It has become an important platform for dialogue, communication, understanding, friendship and cooperation.
The theme of this forum is "environmental protection, innovation, pformation and upgrading", which is close to the pulse of Scientific Outlook on Development. It is in line with the objective trend of pformation and upgrading of China's leather and footwear industry, and also meets the actual needs of Fujian's construction of the West Coast Economic zone of the Straits.
Since the beginning of reform and opening up, Fujian has seized the opportunity of international leather and shoemaking industry, and made leather and shoemaking industry develop rapidly in this process. A group of leather and shoemaking enterprises represented by Xingye leather, Anta and so on have sprung up. Leather products such as natural leather (top layer leather, two layer leather), shoe upper leather, luggage leather, furniture leather, garment leather and other kinds of leather products from shoes to shoes, shoes, plastic slippers and other kinds of shoes products have been formed. But Fujian is still not a strong province of leather and shoe making industry. There is a big gap compared with the international advanced level.
Fujian is located on the southeast coast, facing Taiwan, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, the location is special. The Fujian provincial Party committee and the provincial government have made strategic decisions on the construction of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits based on serving the overall development of the whole country and based on the advantages of Taiwan, and put forward the new idea of "five aspects" and "six demands" for Taiwan.
Under the care and attention of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, supporting the economic development of the west coast of the Straits has been written into the central document and the national "11th Five-Year plan" outline. The development strategy of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits has risen from the regional strategy to the national strategy. The state's 28 ministries and bureaus bureaus have successively introduced policies and measures to give strong support. The whole province is going to deploy and implement Scientific Outlook on Development according to the decision of the central government, and comprehensively promote the construction of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits, and strive to build the Economic Zone on the west coast of the Straits into a leading area for scientific development and a Pioneer Area for people's exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Straits, so as to make greater contributions to the overall situation. The acceleration of the construction of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits has provided a more solid stage and broader space for the pformation and upgrading of leather and footwear industry in Fujian.
In the new round of development, we will change pressure into opportunities, and actively guide the leather and footwear industry in Fujian to pform the mode of economic growth, improve the R & D capability of products, enhance the level of independent innovation, implement brand strategy, strengthen scientific and technological progress, adjust product mix and innovate marketing mode, so as to achieve the overall breakout and sustainable development of leather making and shoemaking industry.
Coincides with the convening of the 2008 China Leather Development Forum, we have the honor to invite leaders, experts and entrepreneurs from the leather and footwear industry to give us the opportunity to exchange with each other, learn the most advanced management experience and production technology, and understand the development trend of leather and footwear industry. This is a good opportunity to promote the development of leather and shoemaking enterprises in Fujian, and will certainly make new and greater contributions to the construction of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits.
