Taipei Textile Exhibition Attracted More Than 20 Thousand People In 3 Days.
The 2008 Taipei Textile Exhibition (TITAS 2008), which was hosted by Taiwan textile industry exhibition, was successfully concluded. According to the statistics of the textile industry association, the total number of visitors to the exhibition in three days was 19 thousand and 567, and foreign buyers came from 42 countries (regions). Among the buyers, 10% came from overseas and 90% from Taiwan. The three day "TITAS 2008" came on the 15 day and the 17 day ended successfully.
Textile Development Association pointed out that this year's Taipei textile exhibition is the only textile exhibition in Asia, which is positioned as popular and functional innovative textiles. A total of 250 manufacturers participated in the exhibition, using 513 stalls, including 212 Taiwan manufacturers and 38 overseas manufacturers, from India, Indonesia, Japan, China (including Hongkong), Singapore, Thailand, Holland, Switzerland and other countries and regions.
According to the statistics of the textile industry association, three days of exhibitions were attended by 19 thousand and 567 professional buyers. Among them, 10% were from overseas, 90% from Taiwan, while foreign buyers came from 42 countries (regions), accounting for 1957 people; and VIP buyers of internationally important brands were about 100. Secondly, in addition to Taiwan, the top 5 buyers are buyers of China, Hongkong, Japan, the United States and Thailand. The buyers came from 10 countries (regions) in the world, a total of 20 groups, and about 300 people visited Taiwan to visit.
The textile industry association said that the VIP buyers of the important international brands also expressed their affirmation, such as the American outdoor sports brand SCOTT USA purchasing representative Mr. SteveCorsaletti and the outdoor surfing brand Holland O 'Neill purchasing representative Mr. Chris Westen, all said that "TITAS" is the best purchasing platform for them to purchase textile products that comply with the environmental protection standard. Adidas development purchasing manager Ms. Rita Yeh said that the adidas sportswear suit has the function of moisture absorption and perspiration, and then meet the demand of energy saving and environmental protection, which will be more in line with the market demand. Mr.Marco Scudeller, general manager of Italy leisure denim brand GAS, wants to purchase the products needed for winter clothing series.
