This Year, The White House Thrifty Christmas.
In December 4th, the National Christmas tree was lit in front of the White House in Washington, D.C.
Laura Bush, the first lady of the United States, said he plans to use energy saving light bulbs and used materials to decorate the White House this year for a frugal Christmas.
The White House main Christmas tree is about 5.5 meters high and hangs 369 ornaments made by artists from all over the country.
Several Christmas trees scattered around the rest of the White House are decorated with red and blue ornaments used in previous years.
