The signing ceremony of several investment cooperation projects was also held at the meeting. The first four fairs signed an international cooperation project with an investment of 22 billion 260 million US dollars, of which 189 were "going out" projects, with a total investment of 5 billion 800 million dollars, and the investment amount for signing domestic cooperation projects was 220 billion 300 million yuan.

With the accelerated pace of "going out" of our enterprises, the Expo will play a greater role in promoting investment cooperation between the two sides.

At the meeting, Wang Jinzhen, vice president of CCPIT, introduced the Fifth China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit on behalf of the Organizing Committee on business and Investment Summit.

At the same time with the China ASEAN Expo, the opening ceremony will be held on the morning of October 22, 2008. The venue will be arranged at the Guangxi people's Hall of Nanning, Guangxi.
