2008 Milan International Fabric Fair
Scope of exhibits:
Women's wear, men's wear, children's wear fabrics, casual wear, sportswear, underwear fabrics, embroidery, lace fabrics, knitted and woven fabrics, clothing accessories, yarn, clothing, etc.

Exhibit introduction:
The exhibition started in September 2001 and is held twice a year at the same time as the famous Italian fabric exhibition MODAIN (open only to European exhibitors). It is the only textile trade exhibition in Italy that is specially held for textile suppliers outside the EU. In February 2005, the 7th INTERTEXMILANO attracted 200 exhibitors from 25 countries, including China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Taiwan, South Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Romania and other countries and regions. 3988 guests visited the business, an increase of 18% over the same period last year. Among them, 2780 Italian businessmen, up 17 percent; 1208 international buyers, an increase of 20%, came from 75 countries, including European countries such as Greece, France, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, etc.
Customers come from the clothing industry and knitting manufacturers (33%), importers/general agents (5%), regional agents (10%), textile manufacturers (12%), designers (10%), wholesalers (9%), retailers (9%), etc. Favorite fabrics include soybean fiber fabrics, bamboo fiber fabrics, embroidered silk fabrics, linen fabrics, cotton fabrics for shirts, etc. In February 2004, INTERTEX MILANO was held at the same time as the 3rd READY TO SHOW Fashion Exhibition, which achieved greater results.
The exhibition is held twice a year and has been held for 57 times. The clothing of autumn/winter 2005/06 and spring/summer 2006 will be displayed at the exhibition in May, and the clothing of spring/summer 2006 and autumn/winter 2006/07 will be displayed at the exhibition in November. The goods on display include knitted men's clothing, women's clothing, children's clothing and other types of clothing, clothing accessories.
In June 2005, about 200 exhibitors and 4000 merchants attended the exhibition. Italy accounted for 46% of the visitors and 54% of them were international buyers from 45 countries and regions. Among them, buyers from Germany, Spain, Portugal and Greece have increased significantly. Japanese buyers are still active participants in the exhibition, accounting for 11% of the number of international merchants. Customers include operators of chain stores and department stores, importers, purchasing groups, mail order stores, etc
