Two Women Wear Han Clothes To Preach Traditional Culture.

Yesterday, two young women appeared in Qianmen Street wearing Han clothes.

Yesterday afternoon, two young women dressed in elegant Hanfu tours to Qianmen Street.

They said they should welcome the Olympic Games in the way of Chinese culture.

At 15 o'clock yesterday, two women dressed in Hanfu appeared in Qianmen Street, and the passers-by stopped and watched.

As they walked slowly, they introduced the knowledge of Hanfu and publicizing traditional culture to the curious pedestrians.

"We are welcoming the Olympic Games in a traditional way," said Feng Maohua, dressed in Hanfu, "showing China at another level to the world, not only modern but also ancient."

Feng Maohua is a staff member of the Imperial College. His usual job is to promote traditional culture.

Feng Maohua once participated in the signature petition of organizing "Hanfu as the entry dress of the Chinese team opening ceremony". Last August 8th, he went to CCTV's "tell the truth" program to discuss the topic of Hanfu.

Her companion, Wu Jiaxian, a sophomore at Beijing Union University, has the badge of the Beijing Olympic Games on his hand, with a heart shaped national flag on his Hanfu suit.

She and Feng Maohua are friends of hannet (a website for Hanfu fans exchange).

The two men's Hanfu suits were made in a special clothing store.

Across the Qianmen Street, two women went straight across zhuzhukou street and took the bus to Tiantan park.

They said they were going to have another big screen to watch the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in the evening.
