    YAHOO Ji Mo Joint Revenue Is Expected To Jump Three

    According to Hong Kong and Taiwan media reports, the largest portals in Taiwan, YAHOO's B2C e-commerce website Xingqi technology has been placed in the Fair Trade Commission's "today's Committee agenda" (6.18 days). If there is no accident, the joint case is expected to pass through conditional conditions.

    Once the merger is established, YAHOO's revenue will jump three, and next year's revenue is expected to break through NT $10 billion.


    According to the data sent by YAHOO to the Fair Trade Commission, the company has a network advertising share of about 58.4% in Taiwan. It was announced by IAMA (Taipei Internet advertising and media business association) in 2007 that the overall network advertisement in Taiwan was estimated to be NT $4 billion 950 million. The revenue of YAHOO's Internet advertising last year was about NT $2 billion 900 million. As a result, online advertising accounted for 80% to 85% of YAHOO's revenue. From this, YAHOO's revenue in 2007 was estimated to be around NT $3 billion 500 million. Based on the same principle of proportionality, YAHOO's 2008 network wide revenue is expected to reach 3 billion 500 million, and its total revenue is about NT $4 billion 200 million.


    Xingqi technology, which was founded in 2002, with the capital amount of 150 million, was launched 5 years ago by the two sides. The company started to contract YAHOO's "shopping mall" channel to operate the B2C e-commerce business. Thanks to the huge volume of YAHOO's traffic, Xingqi's performance also showed a three jump. In 2004, its revenue was only 790 million, but in 2007, its revenue grew by 10 times and reached NT $7 billion 500 million. It has surpassed the largest e-commerce website PChome Online network in Taiwan.

    Xing Qi technology has more than 9 of its revenue from YAHOO's shopping center channel. It is understood that Xingqi technology revenue is expected to reach NT $9 billion this year.


    Xingqi's brilliant performance has attracted a lot of enterprises intending to enter e-commerce, and Taiwan's electronics chief Hon Hai has also actively discussed the market. Hon Hai has offered $100 million (NT $3 billion) to buy Xingqi, but in the end, Xingqi technology has decided to sell it to YAHOO, a happy but cheap bid.


    As YAHOO intends to make 100% merger and acquisition of technology, Xingqi's revenue will be directly injected into YAHOO.

    The Taiwan branch is benefited from the merger, and its annual revenue is expected to break through billions of new TNT. YAHOO's annual revenue can be increased by more than US $300 million.


    YAHOO is YAHOO's third largest market in the world. It bought Taiwan's largest blogger website "nameless station" around NT $700 million the year before.

    It is understood that YAHOO bought $60 million (about NT $1 billion 800 million) to buy all the shares of Xingqi technology. In the future, Xingqi technology will no longer exist and become the next business unit of YAHOO's company.

    Its M & a price is 133 yuan per share, but it is lower than the 200 yuan of "anonymous station".
