Guangdong Textile And Garment Export Growth Declined
According to the latest customs statistics, China's exports of textiles and clothing totaled 36 billion 436 million US dollars in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 17.70% over the same period last year. It is reported that Zhejiang's exports of textiles and clothing lead the country, accounting for 23.54% of the total exports of the country, while Guangdong is also a major province of textile and clothing exports, but export growth has dropped.
Since the beginning of this year, China's textile and garment industry is facing many pressures such as the acceleration of RMB appreciation, the reduction of export tax rebate rate and the rising labor cost.
Industry experts said that the pformation of textile enterprises is imperative. The products, brands and added value should be placed at a new height, and technological input and product innovation should be increased, including the upgrading of product standards and testing standards, and the integration of product standards with international advanced standards, so as to enhance the international market share.
